2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device model, OS version, and general usage data.
• Diagnostics: Crash reports and performance logs to improve app stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 AI Processing (Google Gemini)

To provide our core service, receipt images are sent to Google Gemini API for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and item extraction.

• No Training: We do not use your data to train our own AI models.
• Ephemeral Processing: Images sent to the AI service are processed for the purpose of extraction and are not permanently stored by the AI provider for their model training, in accordance with Google Cloud's data privacy commitments.

3.2 Cloud Storage (Firebase)

Your receipt data (extracted items, prices, and sharing details) is stored securely on Google Firebase.

• This allows you to share receipts with friends and sync data across devices.
• Data is protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
